Hydrostatic Socket Fabrication System – training
This training will focus on modern methods of direct socket fabrication (Direct Socket Fabrication) and their practical application in the everyday work of a prosthetist. Participants will learn the theoretical foundations and differences between the most important socket fabrication techniques – Wrapping Technique, Majicast, and Icecast – as well as their role in the patient care process. A key element of the program will be live demonstrations of the Majicast hydrostatic casting method and the use of the Icecast technique as an integral part of the modern clinical process. These demonstrations will allow participants to follow the entire workflow – from patient preparation to socket fabrication. The training will also be practical. Interested parties will have the opportunity to try out the presented techniques themselves during a workshop session, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of experts. This training is intended for prosthetists, orthopedic technicians, and specialists in the fabrication and fitting of prosthetic limbs who wish to expand their knowledge and practical skills in modern Direct Socket Fabrication methods.
